CERV Outstanding in XR Award 2023 - Call for Nomination
The period for nominating names for the CERV Outstanding in XR Award is open until September 29th, which will be awarded to a personality who has stood out for their contributions to research and/or evolution and/or innovation and/or dissemination of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and/or Mixed Reality (in short, XR - eXtended/miXed Reality).
The award will be given during the 25th Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality - SVR 2023. Any active member of the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) or anyone who has already participated as an author, speaker, or member of the organizing or program committee of at least one SVR can be nominated or apply. The award is aimed at people with Brazilian nationality or who have a strong presence in Brazil. The nominee must be a person with an unblemished reputation.
This will be the third edition of this award, which is given annually during the SVR. The first winners of this award were professors Cláudio Kirner and Alberto Raposo, respectively.
