How to Reach Rio Grande
Most travelers will arrive by the Salgado Filho Porto Alegre International Airport (POA), located in Porto Alegre. There are numerous direct flights from the most important Brazilian capitals to Porto Alegre, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Fortaleza, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, and Brasília.
The reference airport for the event is in the city of Pelotas (PET).
From Pelotas it is possible to travel by bus or car to Rio Grande.
It is also possible to take a direct bus or car from Porto Alegre to Rio Grande.
BY BUS:
With frequent departures, from Monday to Sunday, from the bus station in Porto Alegre,
Planalto carry the passengers to Rio Grande,
Embaixador to Pelotas.
Between Pelotas and Rio Grande, use the bus service from
